A working professional since 1975, David J.’s list of credits include: 1972-1975* Studied under the direction of Tony Slydini, World-renowned magician. 1977-1978 * Produced and built magic for the Charles Sellers Foundations’ Production of Carnival in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Demonstrated magic for Reiss Toys, Inc. in the New Jersey area. Performed as Bambergers “Master Magician” in department stores throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 1979-1980 * Performed shows for Trans World Airlines in Newark International Airport, New Jersey and J.F.K. Airport, New York City Produced and directed the magic for the New York Theater Ensembles production of Twisted, a Sondheim Review. 1981-1989 * Performed school shows, children’s shows and private, civic, and various organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, Disabled American Veterans, Hospitals, Libraries and others in the Tri- State area. 1989-1995 * Performed restaurant entertainment in Utah and Colorado. 1995-2005 * David J, has Performed Friday Nights at Red Robin Restaurant in La Quinta, California for the past 9 years, “Sunday Brunch with David J.” for 6 years at Bananaz, Palm Desert, the Marriott and other resorts in the Coachella Valley, including The Merv Griffin Ranch, The Lincoln Club, works local street fairs as “That Balloon Guy” David J, and specializes in strolling close-up magic, Stand-up “comedy-magic” entertainment for adults, and children’s parties with Magic & Balloons. 2005-2009 * Relocated to the East Coast, presently residing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida David J. has served for four years as President of the Coachella Valley Magic Club- International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 291, Palm Desert, Ca. is currently a member of the Fort Lauderdale Magic Society Ring 150 and Ring 337, is a past member of IBM Ring 106, and a past member of the John McNicolas Magicians Round Table in Linden, N.J. |
